There are some cool looking crochet stitches and the half double crochet back loop only is one of those, at least for me. In this tutorial, we go over step by step how to make a half double crochet back loop only stitch.
If you Look at the top of a crochet stitch you will notice two loops that make a V shape.
Back loop only means that instead of inserting your crochet hook under both of the top loops in a stitch, you only insert the hook in the back loop.
