Bag savers have to be one of the most used crochet items in my home. And I love coming up with new designs for them to change it up time to time.
After making the Avery Market Bag that uses the Crochet Mesh Stitch in the round I wanted to make a new bag saver that would use the same stitch in the round to have the same beautiful texture.
Now if you like bag savers or are a maker who would like a variety of bag savers to sell at market you can check out these other designs that I have:
- Farmhouse Style Crochet Bag Dispenser
- Easy Crochet Plastic Bag Holder
- Mini Bean Crochet Grocery Bag Storer

Notes:
- This crochet pattern is written in US terms.
- This pattern is worked in the round all in one piece.
- The initial chain at the start of each round does not count as a stitch unless noted.
- Some rounds do not have a starting chain (rounds 7 – 55).
- In the mesh stitch rounds (7 – 55), the slip stitch is counted as the last stitch in the round
- Finished size: 16″ long x 5.5″ wide when laid out flat.
- You can make this bag holder taller by increasing the number of repeat rows of the mesh stitch.
- The handle/hanger is adjustable by increasing the number of chains and single crochet stitches.
