Hi! My name is Josie.
I have been crafting since I was a little kid. I first remember being obsessed with making friendship bracelets around age 5. Between the ages of 8 and 10 my mother and grandmother took it upon themselves to have me learn how to cross stitch and crochet. Apparently, I played too many video games so this was to combat that (the joke’s on you mom, now I do all the crafts and play video games!).
I’m now in my 40s and rediscovered my love of crafting about 10 years ago after a couple of years of back-to-back illnesses and multiple surgeries. To keep my mind off of things I threw myself back into cross stitch and crocheting the most. At the time I worked as an IT engineer, so there wasn’t too much of a creative outlet in my work, and creating things from scratch is what helped distract me the most.
In 2018 I decided I wanted to learn how to knit, so I went to YouTube and proceeded to learn away.
After coming up with some crochet patterns and one cross stitch pattern on my own I decided I wanted to start a website to share my love of crafts, mainly crochet.
