I was looking for a way to add some Halloween decor to the kitchen this year and came up with this festive and easy to stitch crochet Candy Corn Dishcloth pattern. (Candy corn after all is my weakness when it comes to Halloween candy.)
This pattern is perfect for adding a touch of Halloween charm to your kitchen. Easy-to-follow and fun to make, it’s the ideal project for those looking to bring a splash of seasonal color to their homes.

Pattern Notes:
- This crochet pattern is written in US terms.
- The stitch count is in parenthesis at the end of each row.
- The starting chains at the beginning of each row does not count as a stitch.
- The finished size is 9 inches tall (not including the ring) x 8 inches at the widest point across the bottom
Materials:
- 3 colors of a #4 medium-weight cotton yarn (46 yards in total of yarn)
- Yarn Used: Lily’s Sugar & Cream
- Color A: White ( 5 yards )
- Color B: Orange (17 yards)
- Color C: Yellow ( 24 yards )
- 4.5 mm ( 7 ) crochet hook
- Yarn needle to weave in ends.
- Stitch Markers (optional)
Crochet Stitches Used:
- ch – chain
- st/sts – stitch/stitches
- sc – single crochet
- hdc – half double crochet
Free Pattern:
Ring:
Foundation Chain Color A: ch 10, sl st to 1st chain to join in circle.
Round 1 Color A: ch 1, sc 15 times around circle created by foundation chain (not in each chain), sl st to 1st sc to join
Dishcloth Body:
Row 1 Color A: ch 2, hdc 3x in the 1st st (3 sts)
Row 2 Color A: ch 2, turn, hdc 2x in the 1st st, hdc in next st, hdc 2x in last st (5 sts)
Rows 3 – 5 Color A: ch 2, turn, hdc 2x in the 1st st, * hdc in the next st, repeat from * until 1 st is left, hdc 2x in last st (each row will increase by 2 sts)
Rows 6 – 8 Color A: ch 2, turn, hdc 2x in 1st st, * hdc in next st st, repeat from * all across (each row will increase by 1 st)
Rows 9 – 17 Color B: ch 2, turn, hdc 2x in 1st st, * hdc in next st st, repeat from * all across (each row will increase by 1 st)
Rows 18 – 26 Color C: ch 2, turn, hdc 2x in 1st st, * hdc in next st st, repeat from * all across (each row will increase by 1 st)
Fasten Off and Weave in Ends
