The crochet trinity stitch is made completing a single crochet in the first stitch of the row and then doing single crochet 3 together stitches across the row followed by a chain across the row until the last stitch where a single crochet is used in place of the chain one.
Instructions
Trinity Stitch on a Foundation Chain
- Create a foundation chain with an even number.
- Single Crochet in the 2nd chain from the hook.
- Starting in the chain that you just worked, insert your crochet hook, yarn over and pull up a loop (2 loops on your hook)
- Insert your hook into the next chain and pull up a loop (3 loops on your hook)
- Insert your hook into the following chain and pull up a loop (4 loops on your hook)
- Yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on your hook
- Chain one to close off the stitch.
- Continue repeating steps 3 through 7 until there are 2 chains left.
- For the last trinity stitch repeat steps 3 through 6, do not chain 1.
- Single crochet in the last chain.

- Chain 1 and turn your work.
- Single crochet into the 1st stitch of the row.
