Stash Buster Crochet Pattern: The Burst Coaster

Sharing is caring!

With the 4th of July and the long weekend last week, I needed a quick pattern that could get some use for the holiday, and so came along The Burst Coaster. I was playing around with doing stitches between the posts instead of in the stitch itself and the result was a circle that reminded me of a star bursting. And so to make sure a candy company can’t come after me for something similar to their name, I just dubbed it the burst.

It is a great stash-busting pattern for any scrap yarn you have lying around. You only need 20 yards per coaster, and they stitch up super fast (I timed myself on one and it was 15 minutes).

These could also be a good thing to make up fast if you have a market coming up and need some coaster sets.
