I had a pack of Dragonfly colored Unforgettable Yarn in my stash and wanted to create something that was wavy since the colors in the yarn reminded me of the ocean. This pattern combines half double crochet stitches, and double crochet stitches with a mini bean stitch to create a smooth wavy/ripple look.
