Welcome to your next bright and sunny crochet project! Nothing says summer like lemons and lemonade, the inspiration behind this Square Lemon Peel Stitch Baby Blanket Pattern.
This corner-to-corner baby blanket crochet pattern showcases the beautiful Lemon Peel Crochet Stitch diagonally (C2C), which alternates between the single crochet stitch and double crochet stitch to create a beautifully textured fabric that’s perfect for a cozy baby blanket.
I used Lion Brand’s Coboo yarn for this blanket, which I absolutely love for its softness and easy drape. The color of choice? A bright, cheerful yellow that invokes warm, summery vibes and of course screams lemon peel.
The size can easily be adjusted by changing the number of times you do the increase row repeat until you are at the width you would like for this blanket.

I am finishing up my first Lemon Peel C2C baby blanket. I love this pattern. I do have a question. Can you use same pattern but with a different stitch?
You can, but just keep in mind that any changes to the stitch used could change what is needed at the beginning and end of each row.
